Fall Sports Start-up Information:

**It is important the all paperwork be in the athletic office prior to the first day.  Needed forms can be found on the web sight @hanoverhigh.us.  Physicals are good for two years and do not have to be on the form that we provide.  Whatever your provider supplies is fine.  The Participation fee is now $125.00 and checks should be made out to HHS Athletics.  

Football Practice will start on Wednesday 8-12-09.  All candidates should meet in the High School locker room at 7:00 am. Practices will be from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00pm - 6:30pm

There is a break in between sessions to avoid the heat as much as possible.  

Girls Soccer:  Sunday 8-16-09, Meet at the HHS track at 4:00 for a players meeting and announcements.  Following the meeting any VARSITY candidates will have their 1 miles timed trial.  Please bring running shoes/outfit.  Time trials will be conducted in heats of 10+/-. We will be done before 6:00pm  Monday 8-17-09 all VARSITY candidates will meet at Sachem Field from 8:00 am - 9:45.  Non-Varsity Candidates will meet at Sachem Field @5:00pm - 7:00pm.  VARSITY Candidates MUST attend BOTH sessions(morning and evening)  

Field Hockey:  All Candidates meet at the High School track @9:30 am - 11:00 am  Practices for the first week are:  Monday thru Friday from 4:30 - 7:00pm. Second Session will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:30 am to 11:00am.  So, three days a weeks there will be TWO sessions each day.  

Boys Soccer:  Monday 8-17-09: Varsity & JV Candidates meet at Huntley Meadows in Norwich. Practice will be from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.    RESERVE candidates start Monday 8-24-09.  Time to be announced.  

Golf:  Monday 8-17-09: All candidates meet at the Practice Green on Route 10 at Hanover Country Club @7:00 am.  Practice will be until 2:00pm 

Volleyball: Monday 8-17-09:   All candidates meet in the High School gym @8:45 am - 11:30 am.  VARSITY only candidates will also practice 1:00pm - 3:30pm.  JV Candidates will only attend the first session in the morning. 

Cross Country:  Monday 8-17-09:  All candidates meet on the High School Track @9:00am.  Practice will be from 9:00am - 11:00 am.
